How the Commission Process Works

Initial Consultation

Every commission begins with a conversation. You can share:

• A photo or sketch

• A concept you want me to bring to life

• Your colors, style preferences, or theme

• Or you can give me full creative direction
  

During this step, I gather the information I need to design a piece that
fits your vision and your space.

Measuring the Space

You may provide your own measurements, or you may request a site visit.

Site Visit Fees
40 dollars • Within 25 miles of Bryans Road, Maryland
80 dollars • Within 50 miles of Bryans Road, Maryland

A site visit includes:

• On-site measurements

• Evaluating the space for lighting

• Discussing design possibilities

• Answering material, durability, and install questions

Design Phase

Once the dimensions are confirmed, I will create a custom design based on your vision. After you approve that design, I will prepare color samples so you can see the exact glass palette before fabrication begins. Nothing moves forward until you are completely happy with both the design and the colors.

Pricing & Payment

All pricing is based on the size of the artwork.
Contact me with your measurements for an exact quote.

Payment Structure
50 percent deposit required to begin production
Remaining balance due at completion

This secures your materials and reserves your project in the studio schedule.

Fabrication

This is where your piece comes to life.

During fabrication I:

• Cut each piece of glass by hand

• Shape, foil, lead, and solder

• Ensure durability and structural integrity

• Clean, frame, and prepare the final piece for installation or display
  

Your artwork will be crafted with the same care, precision, and intention I bring to all of my work.

Delivery, Pickup, or Shipping

When your piece is complete, you will be notified by email.

Pickup

You may pick up your artwork from the studio in Bryans Road, Maryland.

• Up to 80 miles • 125 dollars

Shipping (Continental USA)

Excluding California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii.
